  • The deadline for online application registration on the final day of the online application period [Wednesday, January 24th] is 18:00. The deadline for payment of the entrance examination fee is 23:59 on Wednesday, January 24th.

Issuance of online exam ticket

The admission ticket (PDF format) will be issued from our university's online application site. The admission ticket will not be mailed, so please print it out in portrait orientation on a blank A4 size sheet of paper and be sure to bring it to the exam venue on the day of the exam. Color or black and white is acceptable. The download period for the admission ticket is as shown in the table below, so please print it out during the period using a home printer or a printing service at a convenience store, etc.

Key points for entrance exams

  • Increase your chances of being accepted by applying for schedules A, B, and C!
  • On dates A and B, you can take the exam in two subjects (including required subjects)!
  • On the C schedule, there are 3-subject and 2-subject assessments. However, you must take all three subjects!
  • New "Fukuoka Venue" opened! Held at 15 locations including our university!
  • Science "Mathematics": You can take the exam with "Mathematics (I & II) and Mathematics (A & B "Sequences" and "Vectors")"!
  • Faculty of International Studies offers an "English-focused" program that doubles the focus on English!
  • Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences offers schedule A, which includes "English, Japanese, practical type" and "English, Japanese, competitive ability-based type" which uses sports activity scores!
  • On schedule A, the Department of Department of Environmental Science and Technology will have a test-type exam that you can take on the subject of "Biology"!
  • Department of Information Systems Engineering, Department of Architectural and Environmental Design, Department of Environmental Science and Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Department Department of Civil Engineering offer the "English/Japanese/Elective" format, which allows you to take the exam with liberal arts subjects!

<Multiple applications>

  • You can apply for all three days of schedules A, B, and C!
  • The "Standard Method" of basic application allows you to apply to up to 5th choice schools within the range of concurrent applications!
  • Starting this year, applicants for the "designated subject emphasis method" and "elective subject emphasis method" can apply with up to five choices in the same order of preference as the "standard method"!
  • For Schedule C, you can apply for the "highest scoring two subjects assessment" in the same order of preference as the basic application "three subjects assessment"!

  • The A-schedule Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences "English, Japanese, Practical" course will be held only at our university because it includes a practical test (basic physical fitness test).

Online application Entrance examination fee

Basic entrance examination fee (per application) 30,000 yen
  • In the case of multiple applications, an additional 3,000 yen will be charged for each additional application.
    (For a total of two applications = 30,000 yen + 3,000 yen = 33,000 yen),
This year only, the entrance examination fee will be waived for multiple applications.

Exemption from entrance examination fees

  • If you apply for both the General Entrance Examination and the Common Test for University Admissions (Early Schedule) at the same time, you will be exempt from the entrance examination fees for the Common Test for University Admissions (Early Schedule) and the Common Test for University Admissions Plus (Early Schedule). There is no limit to the number of applications you can make.

Entrance exam with reduced tuition fees for outstanding students

  • For the exam on Friday, February 2nd, Schedule C (standard method, three-subject assessment), the top 20% of first-choice successful applicants in each department (Economics is the faculty) will be subject to the same tuition fees as at national universities.

Notification method for those eligible for tuition fee reduction

  • Eligible applicants will be sent a "Notice of Acceptance" along with a "Notice of Reduction of Tuition Fees and Educational Environment Improvement Fee for Students with Excellent Grades."

Application eligibility

Anyone who meets any of the following criteria:

(Applicants for Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences (English, Japanese, and competitive ability-weighted) must have a track record in the same categories as those in the university's sports club entrance exams. However, there are no gender restrictions.)

  1. Those who have graduated from high school or secondary school, or are scheduled to graduate in March 2024
  2. Those who have completed 12 years of regular school education or are scheduled to complete it by March 2024
  3. In accordance with Article 150 of the Enforcement Regulations of the School Education Act, individuals who are deemed to have academic ability equivalent to or greater than that of high school graduates, or who are expected to meet this criteria by March 31, 2024.
  • For international students, we conduct entrance examinations for international students. However, the term "international students" refers to those who are foreign nationals and have completed a 12-year curriculum equivalent to a Japanese high school abroad, or who are scheduled to complete such curriculum by March 2024 (however, this includes those who have attended a Japanese elementary school, junior high school, high school, or secondary school for a total of three years or less during the 12-year period).

★A "Sports Activity Report" etc. is required as documentation to be submitted for the UK, Japan and competitive ability bonus types.

  • In addition to the school report and the photo attachment form for online applications, documents to be submitted for the athletic ability bonus system include a "Sports Activity Report."
