You cannot apply if your residence status is "Dependent" or "Spouse of Japanese National, etc." Research students, non-degree students, short-term foreign students, government-sponsored students, and foreign government-sponsored students are also not eligible to apply. Please note that if you change your student status to another status (dependent, etc.), you will no longer be eligible for tuition fee reduction or exemption. (If you make any changes, please be sure to contact International Exchange Office and Academic Affairs Division.)

*For international students who have not yet entered Japan due to new arrivals, etc., please apply for this tuition fee reduction/exemption.

Reduction rate varies depending on enrollment classification, etc.

Students enrolled before 2017

Enrollment classification Reduction amount
Undergraduate students enrolled in the first year 50% of tuition fee
Transferred undergraduate Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School 30% of tuition fee

Those who transfer to the university after graduating from our junior college will be exempted from 50% of the fee.
Those who enrolled after 2015 are not eligible for reduction or exemption of educational environment enhancement fees.

Students admitted from 2018 onwards

Enrollment classification annual Reduction amount
Undergraduate students enrolled in the first year 1st year 50% of tuition fee

Transferred undergraduate Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School All years 30% of tuition fee

Reduction or exemption will be adjusted by tuition fee for the second semester (tuition fee payment method)

However, those who enrolled after 2015 will be required to pay an educational environment enhancement fee.
In addition, those who enrolled after 2017 will also have to pay various membership fees. (For those who enrolled before 2016, they paid the full amount for 4 years at the time of enrollment)

Those who have ``less than 100 credits'' or who have not ``confirmed their enrollment'' will not be exempted from exemption (certification criteria based on grades and enrollment confirmation)

(If applying as a 3rd year student, you must have earned at least 60 credits by the end of your 2nd year; if you are applying as a 4th year student, you must have earned at least 90 credits by the end of your 3rd year.)
