What is a color vision test?

This is a test to check for color vision deficiency. Color vision deficiency is a condition in which colors are perceived differently than normal due to an abnormality in the photoreceptor cells that sense colors.
The severity of color vision deficiency varies from person to person, but in most cases it does not cause any problems in daily life. In many cases, people do not notice their color vision deficiency unless they are tested and it is pointed out to them.

Deepen your understanding of it as part of your own personality...

Color vision deficiency is a phenomenon in which it is difficult to distinguish colors, but it does not mean that you cannot see anything. Of course, if you experience severe symptoms such as difficulty distinguishing the colors of traffic lights, you need to take measures to protect your own life as your top priority.
However, in most cases, it is generally believed that few people experience serious inconveniences in their daily lives. If you know in advance that there are situations in which you are likely to misjudge your condition, it is effective to first fully understand your own characteristics and then learn the appropriate ways to deal with them.
This is not a phenomenon that you should worry about more than necessary, so I hope you will be able to take a positive approach and deepen your understanding of your own characteristics.

It is said that in our daily lives, we obtain about 80% of our information through our vision (including color vision).
Color vision tests are conducted for advanced students during regular student health checkups, so be sure to take the test to find out the state of your own color vision!
